I have a 2001 150 efi and it will not engage in reverse. I checked the cables, even played with them a bit to make sure that was not it. I did hear a knocking noise (lever in reverse) down in the lower unit near the prop shaft when I was checking forward, nuetral and reverse. Forward works fine, runs fine, just not reverse. Only have used it for three seasons, any ideas, thanks.<br /><br />Bryan
