Been rebuilding a 1966 Johnson 6hp cd23e outboard. No problems until I checked spark on each plug just before tightening flywheel. I am getting great spark one one plug and none on the other. I swapped condensers and coils, replaced points on affected side, and checked continuity from coil to plug. After the swap, the plug that worked originally still works and the other still doesn't. Please help!

Bad High Tension Wire, Bad Plug. Anything grounding out the points on the dead cylinder?

You need an Ohm meter to troubleshoot, a cheap digital one is fine. See what resistance to ground is at the condenser as you open and close the points by hand. Compare the two sets of points with the coil wires connected and disconnected (when connected the difference between open and closed should only be about 1.5 ohms).
