Hello,
I just bought this boat and knew it had no spark going into the deal. It the original motor on the 91 Sea Nymph TX155 (this boat does have a console). Previous owner knew nothing about the kill switch and did not have the tether. I can only assume the kill is the same knob for push to choke. This knob pulls out and is spring loaded. I plan to spend time tomorrow. pulling wires from the kill switch as well as checking continuity on the the stator and the coils. I do not know much about the electric function of other components on this engine.
Any help on things to look for and test is appreciated.
Also is there ways to find schematics for this complete (boat and motor) set-up?
Thanks,
Tim
