I have an 89 mercury Sailpower 210cc (i think a 8 hp). I put a set of plugs in it and ran for a while, when I checked them, one still looked brand new. I then pulled the plud and ran the motor and there was no change. I am suspecting that the switch box might be bad. Do they go out often? What should I do to check it? Any help would be nice. I hate to spend the money if it is not the problem. Thanks.
