No spark at the plugs, help ?

I am not getting any spark on any of my 4 spark plugs, it has a new distributor cap, all the plugs are new, wires look good but I'll replace them anyway. Other than the ignition coil what else should I check ? It's a 1966 sterncraft mercruiser 120 4 cylinder.

the key in the ignition
that you have 12volts at the + side of the coil
that the safety lanyard switch is in the "on" position

also call the "man overboard switch" its a off switch with a lanyard you supposed to attach to yourself incase you leave the boat unexpectedly

Lol ok. I will check and see if I even have this on my boat. Haven't seen it yet if I do. This is my first boat so some things are still new to me, and thanks for the explanation.
