No spark E15rcnc evinrude, pulled all the earths off clean put them back together still nothing, took a wire of the kill switch and still nothing, is the anyway I can test the coils or power pack it’s really bugging me, been to 2 boat shops and just wasted my money for them to tell me I’m not sure what’s wrong. Cheers

Had the same issue, older motor. Diagnosed myself, everything checked out but no spark. Came down to the main big round plug, was not making contact on the pins correctly. A but of tweaking of the pins and some dialectic grease cured it. Not saying that will fix yours just something to check.

Do you have an ohmmeter to test the components under the flywheel ?----Flywheel does not need to be removed for these tests.----My bet is the powerpack if you lost spark on both leads.

With some more testing today, I was turning the engine over and the black wire that comes off the power pack to the kill switch give me a zap so I decided to have a look at that (I have the kill switch disconnected so I know it’s not a faulty switch) any how give the engine a pull and grab that black wire and earth it out it sparks, so I’m assuming that under the flywheel works and the power pack works, is there a way to test my coils.

I thought that my engine being an 82 model and the coils look pretty old and the weather where I’m am has been pretty cold maybe moisture or something has got to them? Like I said I’m assuming that if the power pack had power coming off the wire then it should work, so from that wire is kill switch, coils leads and plugs.
i have new plugs leads and I have a new kill switch coming just to eliminate any problems to do with that.

So I had some time today to have a look at my engine myself, all earths are clean, I’ve disconnected earth on killswitch so that I know it won’t be that and pulled all the coils, power pack and took flywheels off checked all wires none and broken all pins connect.
so coming off the power pack to the coils is a orange and blue wire and to the other coil it’s a orange wires then the black wires goes to killswitch. The wire that goes to the killswitch after turning engine over if you earth it on something it will spark but the other two wires and no spark at all and even turning it over(I even held onto to them so I know it definitely doesn’t have spark) it’s got me stumped consul the power pack be buggered or could it be the coil or trigger under the flywheel? How can I pin point this
