No spark for ignition

My 1989 Blue Fin Spectrum engine will not start. It is not getting any spark for ignition. I changed the coil and the solonoid with zero effect. The coil is oil filled for use with external resister.

Please help

Ayuh,... What motor,..??

Do you have Power to the (+) side of the coil,..??
Is it points fired, or electronic,..??

Another good coil replaced............. :facepalm:

Any time someone doesn't have spark, they change the coil, and it's SELDOM the coil.
If your engine is still original, you have points. They get glazed over and don't work, especially after setting for long periods of time.
