no spark for the sportjet 90

kill switch is disconected at the motor.(blk/yel wire)new battery,new starter.tried to disconnect rev limiter but is hard wired. also disconnected harness and tried to jump off celonoid.when i pulled the plugs they WERE serverly fouled,so i replaced them . p.s im learning the proper etiqutte to work this site. i think this forum may be one of the most useful places on the net!<br />i dont know how to reply to an answer?<br />thanks GYO

I also have a sport jet 90 and have been through ignition problems. I suggest that you get a hold of a shop manual. I have the Clymers and it has very good diagnostic procedures for ignition problems. Basically you start with the plugs then the coils then the switch box then stator, trigger, etc. It is a lot easier to methodically diagnose the problem then to replace parts, and cheaper also.<br /><br />Good luck,<br /><br />Scott
