No Spark in a 1991 Yamaha 4 Stroke 9.9

I picked up a 1991 four stroke Yamaha 9.9 long shaft to hang on the back of the sailboat this year after I get an old screw jack adjustable motor mount on the transom. (This thing is heavy) The model of the motor is T9.9EXHP

The motor turns over but has no spark. I am a fluid, spark plug, and water pump type of outboard service guy and not really experienced with this motor since I got it in this condition.

Who has seen this or has any ideas?
