No spark Johnson

1999 9.9hp. pull start.
I've tried the tests from CDI and they said I needed a new stator.
Replaced it and still no spark.
The CDI instructions aren't as clear as I'd like.

Anyone have the procedures from Johnson?
I have a DVA test meter.

Yes. KS hooked up. and tested.
Been working on outboards for 30years just want the Johnson test procedures.
