Hi All I'm new to Iboats and am in need of some advice. I did a search but I didn't find an exact answer to my question.
I've done all the tests from the Seloc Manual for my motor and they indicate I have a bad stator and rectifier. I want to eliminate the rectifier from the circuit after I replace the stator so I can test the switch box. The replacement stator that I need say's it requires a rectifier.
I thought the rectifier was just there to charge the battery. Does anybody know why this stator requires it?
Thank you
James
