no spark

I have a 1988 25hp mercury #ob244595. There is no spark on the bottom cylinder wire, but will run on the top one. Any ideas?

Ahoy, Ed.<br /><br />Could be the powerpack, stator or coil.<br /><br />See what happens if you swap the coils.<br /><br />Good luck.
