NO SPARK

I HAVE A FORCE 50HP I JUST GOT THIS BOUT AND BOTH COILS WERE BOURN OUT,I FOUND A SHORT TO (-)I FIX IT AND I REPLASE THE COILS BUT I HAVE NO SPARK,DOSE ANY ONE KNOW IF THE BRAUN WIRES COMING FROM THE (M)TERMINAL AT THE IGNITION SWITCH ARE HOT WITH 12VOTS, COUSE WHEN I PUT A 12VOLTS TO ANY OF THISE TERMINALS I GET SPARK THENKS.

Sounds like your switch might be bad.<br /><br />When the switch is in the on position..is there 12volts to the M's?<br /><br />TMD

hi, i just instal a new switch, and no ther is no power at the m"s terminals , but there is at the i terminal thanks.

Alright..there should be current at the i.<br /><br />This is the ignition. When the key is turned off it shorts the 2 m's together.<br /><br />Try to disconnect one of the M's and check for spark.<br /><br />TMD
