no spark

Hello guys im new here.ive got a volvo penta aq130d/280 ive put in new plus new cap and rotor..and im still not geting spark..could this be my Ignition Coil ? it turns over fine im geting gas to the plugs..thanks for any help

Turn the key to the run position, check to see if you have power on the + terminal of your coil. If you do, Replace the points and condenser.

thanks for your help i do have power to the coil so im going to change the points and condenser toady
