I HAVE A 1983 50HP MERCURY SERIAL NUMBER-6586624 IT HAS NO SPARK.WILL SOMEONE TELL ME WHERE TO START ON FINDING THE PROBLEM?

Serial No: 06586624 Model No: 1050525

If you do not have a manual for your engine, the p/n you require is: 90-86135--5 and here are a few on ebay at excellent prices.
