Hoping one of you greasemonkeys out there can help. Have a 2003 Bayliner 210 classic with a 5L Mercruiser inboard/outboard. Ran fine for 20 years. Thunderbolt V ignition. NO spark, no fuel smell. Starter turns fine, bepper sounds, guages light (except the battery guage but battery is charged) no spark at coil or plugs (used a spark detector), 0 volts at fuel pump. I do have 12V at the coil and green distributor wire. I checked the ignition switch, lanyard switch, replaced coil, checked all fuses in box (there are no others). People tell me it is the "kill" circuit. Is there a way to bypass this circuit to test that? Any way to know which of the maze of wires at the engine is the kill circuit? Any way to know whether the kill circuit is normally open or normally closed? Soooo frustrated. I'm very handy and am good with engines/electrical but this one has me baffled so far. Any help appreciated. Best regards

What is the motor serial number?

No fuel?
Is this a carb, EFI, MPI?

It's not the kill switch with 12V at the coil. The kill switch disconnects power from the coil

Go through the troubleshooting guide. The TB is a great system and the guide will walk you through it. only issue with the TB system is if the igntion module goes, they are expensive if they are still available. At any rate we can walk you through it. you sound mechanically competent and it’s not rocket surgery
