no splined washer needed?

1i just replaced my old aluminum prop with a new ss stiletto prop. After install my aft washer will not fit. It isn't a pressed bushing but a interchangeble bushing. But will it hurt to run it this way. There is not any slack so why need the old washer right.

What kinda motor/drive are we talking about??

I suspect that if there is supposed to be splines showing, and there isn't, you got the wrong prop.

no washer only the nut for those new hubs which is what I suspect is what your talking about.still have the bottom spacer then the prop and insert ,then a castle nut that's it.
