I was wondering if there is a place to get a cover that does not require you to strap it around the bottom of the boat. I would get a custom cover but I do not feel like spending 1000 dollars for it. I will be putting by boat in a slip and cannot wrap the ties around the boat. Any Suggestions
Thanks

Re: No-strap cover

I think a well fitting mooring over with a support pole or two would do you well.

The boat cover should fit snuggly over the rubrail (no straps needed) and the support pole will keep water from pooling. There are even vented poles to allow air to circulate.

Checkout Iboats covers or other cover place on the net to see whats available..

How big is your boat? Price for a custom cockpit cover for my 19' was $300 installed with the snaps.

Hit the phone book and call an awning company. They have the materials to make covers and are normally reasonable in price.
