no water comming out of Pee Hole

Well I replaced the impeller a few months ago which fixed the problem then, However, I had some drive peoblem so I dropped the lower unit when I did the Copper Pipe can completely free from both the Impeller housing and the motor, after strulling for a very long time I was able to get the lower unit back in place, I took the boat out today and notice that NO water is commign out of the pee hole but a bunch is comming out of the shroud near the exhuast, I tried running some wire thourgh the pee hole to unglog it but it had no effect. My guess now is that the copper tube did not go back into place right. Any tip on how to drop the lower unti then get that pipe back in place, also is there suppose to be somekind of seal where the pipe goes into the impeller housing, becuase It moves freely. The motor is a 1976 115 Hp merc. any help is appreciated.. thanks guys.<br /><br /> Thomas

It looks like its time to get the manual but its seems that the powerhead end needs to be removed and the copper tube needs to be inserted into its proper location. First play with trying to get the tubing back where it belongs. To check if you got it back, use a garden hose rather than attaching the lower unit if water comes out of the telltail hole you got it. The tubing should not flop around. Let us know how you make out.

I got it and it was actaully the hose from the block to the tale tell.. I guess sometimes its the easy thigns we never think to look at.
