Hi All,
I've got a Yamaha 3hp 2 stroke outboard that has stopped making water when it's in gear at moderate to high speeds. The engine makes lots of water when the gear shift is in netural at all speeds. The engine makes water at low speeds when in gear but as soon as the throttle passes midrange RPM's all I get is vapor coming out of the water hole.
I've run Salt-Away through the engine and run water through the block under pressure and all cooling passages look to be clear. Also, I've replaced the impeller and re-greased everything. No change.
Any help would be great.
