No WOT on F150

My F150 used to tach out around 5600 rpm, the last few times out it won't go past 4700 rpm. I don't think its overheating, water is flowing out of the back as usual, any ideas?? I did a search on this forum but couldn't find anything related....Sherm

I'd check air and fuel supply. It's not getting enough of one or the other, or both assuming weight and trim are the same.

sounds like you have a dead hole, pull the plugs and find out which one isn't firing

Put new set of plugs in, sameo, air/fuel, from what I can check is all fine. Would an overheat on the engine cause this or would the rpms go really low in an overheat situation. Sherm
