noise at idleand low speed

Ihave aprox 7 hr on my 1979 75 hp evinrude with new pistons bearings seals runs great but after fishing yesterday I noticed a rubbing or light scraping noise at low speed or idle .I ran it at home today for 45 min in and out of gear no noise .any suggestions would be appreciated before I pull it apart and check out the bearings

A noise can sometimes be hard to trace when you are right there listening, and just as hard to discribe to someone else. The first thought with a rubbing noise, did you use screw-lok on the stator ring screws?
