Anyone from the Metro Detroit area going to Jobbie Nooner tomorrow? Ive gone the last few years but its reallly starting to get out of hand. 10,000 boats surrounding a tiny island with no way to go home isnt my idea of fun. However the scenery never gets old:D!

Not like the days when my Dad used to take me...

Never heard of it ???? I am just across Lake St Clair. Anyway with 10,000 boats wherever it is there should be plenty of room for me and the family everywhere else.:D

So how did it gets the name Jobbie Nooner? I think someone posted an aerial pic of that event awhile back, crazy stuff.

Back in the day when auto manufacturers changed over their factories for new models this time of year...the guys would leave their jobs around noon to head out on St. Clair. Hence the name:D
