Is that board back there normal? It looks normal from the outside.

You mean the outside where you cant see it?

You think it would be glassed over to prevent getting wet and rotting...

Thanks, no it looks fine from the outside. Was asking about in the bilge side. Trying to look for other stuff that's wrong with this. Thanks

It's very common.....


A LOT of boat builders don't seal the bilge area very well. As long as it lasts the length of the warranty, they're "good"!

If you ever have the engine out, you can re-glass & seal it all up and paint it!
