Was kicking around cable steering on another thread and got me to thinking about what things used to be like, with today's age of of gee I gotta have a 300 hp outboard. Here's what we got out of 25 hp (with cable steering) back when I was growing up. These are 14' Yellow Jacket boats (built in Denison, TX.) the upper with a 25 Johnson and the lower a 25 hp Evinrude. Those old workhorses pushed a lot of boats and gave lots of folks some super memories. I for one.
