not a bimini ?

been looking for the style top that goes from<br />the windshield, to a set of poles. not 2/3 poles.<br />I always called it a bimini, but can't seem to <br />find anyone online who makes these... custom order<br />can mean custom $. any help is appreciated as<br />always.<br />regards,<br />M.Y.

I've got one on my boat.. dont' know what it's called. Bimini top usually you can walk under...<br /><br />This snaps to windshield, and gives rain cover to driver and front seat.<br /><br />Cockpit / helm cover? not sure what it's called.

think they might be called convertible tops or convertible cockpit covers. Try Boat US.

Go to www.ebay.com and search for bimini top. There's a guy in Lonsdale, MN that sells a lot of those tops...they snap to windshield and stretch back over the cockpit on poles...but he calls them bimini's. One tip...if you buy from him or someone else on ebay, don't let them cut the poles in half for shipping. Send it by bus instead. They can handle the bigger boxes.

oldboat was right on "convertible tops".<br />lot's of web pages for companies that do<br />canvas, but nowhere so far to order online.<br />lot's of people selling bimini's but not<br />conertibles. same luck with yahoo as I had on msn<br />searches, will try basspro next.<br />there's gotta be an online place to buy them!

They are called convertable cockpit tops here. You can get them with or without side curtains and a rear drop wall. Most upholstry shops here make them on a custom basis....

Mellow,<br />Surf to www.ebay.com and wait for that page to load completely...it takes awhile sometimes. Now look on the left of that page, a long list of menu items from top to bottom...click on ebay motors and let that page load completely. After it does, look towards top right...find the search box, type in bimini top, and click the search button. There's at least 30 tops listed right now, and the guy from Lonsdale has several like the ones you are asking about.

Had to browse them myself. I've been considering mounting one on my bass boat for the wife. Anybody have one mounted on a bass boat? Do they even make them for bassboats?
