I've only done one bass boat before and I swore I would never do another but here I go again.

I saw an ad on craigslist for a merc promax motor runs great boat has termites. Well we negoitiated over the phone for the motor settled on a price if motor checked out the p/o had no way to pull motor so offered 200bucks for boat and trailer sight unseen . Well this is what I came home with. I tarped it tight and threw in some bug bombs. Didn't work killed alot but durring tear down I've gone through 5 cans of bug killer. It's going back together with epoxy and coosa composite.

The center stringer is coming out I'm going to get outside stringers transom and knees glassed in first. The boat is well supported but just in case. The center stringer was only half way sound piece of wood in the whole boat.

I hope they don't eat coosa and epoxy. The only wood in the boat is the stringers. They are pt soaked and wrapped in epoxy.

I glassed the floor today. Got the gas tank pads done ran out of epoxy on the ledger board. oh well maybe next weekend get if finished up. I'm ready to put the cap back on it and leave it alone for awhile. My two hell weeks are over. Back to the real world vacation is over.

What's the best thing to paint all this with bilge coat? It was all done with epoxy.
