Not sure if engine or sterndrive locked up .....

engine was cranking then stopped. Cannot turn engine either direction. Pulled spark plugs engine still seized. Loosened v-belt water pump and alt spin freely. Sterndrive in neutral. If in frwd range prop locks one way free wheels other. Same in Rev just opposite of fwd. have the engine service manual from boatinfo. looking how to id and remove sterndrive. Any help would be appreciated,

Pull the upper gear Box. this will separate the outdrive from the engine.
