Is there anything in Conrol Panel for your touchpad, under Mouse?

nothing under mouse in control panel for the touch pad
just looks like the desk top computer mouse options no touch pad options,
just speed left/right clik wheel speed for the mouse
also I just noticed the link you posted was for a g551

Re: notebook touch pad ??

Just a guess...

On my laptop, like many there's the blue "Fn" (function) key that you hold down. It's used with other keys that have blue letters. On mine, I can adjust my volume, screen brightness, etc.... But the relevant thing to your question is mine also has a key to disable the touchpad. You might check your keyboard for that.

Also, if your touchpad is made by Synaptics (most are) you can get the drivers directly from their website.
