Nothing happen when ignition is turned on

I own a 1997 Fisher freedom 200 pontoon boat with a 60 hp merc out board. when I turn the ignition on nothing happens.there is power to the dash switches because my lights and fish finder will come on I have no power to my gauges also my trim will not work any help will be greatly appreciated ...Thanks

Both ends of both cables,.....

Battery terminals clean,( nothing happening ) I have bought a new ignition switch and kill switch.

did you check the main fuse on the side of the motor?

The kill switch only grounds out the ignition, it has nothing to do with the other motor functions, gauges, starter, etc.

I am new to boating and when I bought the boat I did not get any manuals. and the person I bought it from is not around to ask question. Now to your question I took the cowling off to look at the motor, low and be hold I see a fuse holder checked it and yes the fuse was blown. replaced the fuse and everything works....I WILL be ordering manuals for the motor

I have a 1987 Apollo Dynasty and it started ok then started backfiring through the carburetor. I put a fuel pump changed the points, condenser, plugs, and wires. I went to start it again and it started clicking around the starter. I changed solenoid and now it won’t do anything. Any ideas? TIA
