Tonight I filled up. Regular is $3.09, plus is $3.19, premium is $3.34. I think last week I paid $3.34 for regular. Maybe next week it will be under $3.00 for regular.<br /><br />Would be nice.
Yeah, it is inching very slowly downward, but it is still at 2.91 in my town. I still have not had to buy any since before the spike, I might be able to ride it out. I have 1 3/4 tanks in my F150 left...
I paid $2.91 and saw $2.85 for regular today and we USUALLY have the highest priced fuel in the country. A little differenbt dynamic with Katrina . . .

Futures are down to $1.90 a gallon--they spiked a few days ago at almost $2.60 a gallon--They are dropping fairly quickly on the futures market, and there is typically a spread of 60 to 70 cents (to account for taxes and such) between futures and the pump price.<br /><br />It'll drop at the pump, but it will take its time getting in line with the futures market.
$2.69 at our local Murphy near the wal-mart place. Was $2.89 for a long time, just before labor day weekend. I know they raise the price to profit from everyone.<br /><br />I know they refill the underground tank like 2 days before labor day and after the refill the price went up by $0.10.
