Changed the impeller and the bottom gasket as a piece of the old impellar was lodged under it and wouldn't come out any other way except destroy the pump housing gasket. Put it all together and it only drips from the little hose under the motor. Since this motor is new to me, how much water should come out of the pee hose at idle? It would drip a little but that was it. Also which way should the vanes turn when the drive shaft turns? I didn't pay enough attention when taking it apart so I put them going clockwise as the drive shaft turns clockwise. Is this correct or do I have the vanes going the wrong way? I didn't run it very long since it wasn't peeing. I took it apart again and now it looks like the plastic pump housing may be cracked. I guess I tightened the bolts too tight. They were tight though when I took them off, so I put them back on the same tightness. Any ideas or things to check. I am fixing to try to blow some air or WD 40 through the little hose. By the way I put all the pieces of the old impellar together and don't think any piece got into the motor. The old impellar was missing three pieces and I found all three pieces. Put them together and it looked complete.

Re: NS5B won't pee

Read some other posts about folks cleaning the pee hose. Took some WD40 with a small tube nozzle and sprayed up the pee tube. WD40 came out around the hose, then you could hear it going through the system and it started coming out the lower unit. Filled up the bucket and she started peeing a good stream.
