O ring under manifold

2002 merc 5.0 mpi. The drain under exhaust manifold is leaking and I has this posted for a while without any success. Anyone know how to change the o ring without unscrewing the whole valve? The bottom just spins and I tried to pry it apart but I am afraid to break it. Thank you. RR

I would pull the whole valve.

If the drain valve just spins,It's already broken. Get a new one before attempting to remove the old,and stop being afraid to break it worse.

Disagree that it is broken. There is a ball and o ring inside an it is made to come apart.
