Obsolete Evinrude Parts

I'm searching for a carb intake screen for a 1965 model 9522, 9.5 hp Evinrude , screen PN 0309786.
All the usual online places, but it seems to be no longer available. Does anybody out there have any ideas? Is there a place where you can search online inventories or maybe some aftermarket manufacturers? Thanks...

Not likely anybody will start up making that part.-----Your location ?------Look into getting some stainless screen material and a couple of screws to make something.

Try one of the bone-yards....list at top of forum.
By the time you pay for S&H it would likely be more rational to make something yourself per racer's suggestion.

That chunkstopper doesn't really stop anything but falling tree branches, In other words, you don;t need it.

I just cut one up from stainless steel mesh from a $2 spaghetti strainer from the Dollar store

2 small bolts hold it in place over the air intake

if you run the motor with the cowl ON i don't really see what use they have anyway
