I'm restoring a 1967 Holiday runabout (14' 6") the old rub rail came off in one foot chunks, can't find the right profile anywhere. need advice on how to magyver something currently on the market. The deck and hull are mated by a 3/4 inch wide flange that's about 1/4 inch thick, and joined with pop rivets. the hull, deck, and flange kinda look like a sideways " T ".the old rail had a "C" profile and was screwed in from the bottom of the rail. any ideas?

Wefco Rubber will probably be a better bet. If you have any pieces of the insert left, they will try to match it if you send them a piece.
