Have a 2000 mercruiser with a 305. Always starts when cold. Always starts right after I turn it off. If I let it sit 20 min or so, sometimes its hard starting. Not like dead cranking, but it's partial firing but won't start until several atempts. This won't happen every time out. Runs perfect when it's running. Just did rotor, plugs and cap. No help. Will do this in flat calm water as well as high seas.
