The engine is a 1998 Johnson Ocean Runner V6 175 hp
The boat had been running kidna of spotty then it just cut out. Basically I could not go above 15-20 mph before the engine started surging and I had to back it down then it was OK. Then it just stopped today on the water. Actually found that the starter fly wheel clip came of while inspecting the engine and had to put a new one on because it wasn't turning over. So I fixed that and now it turns but doesn't ignite. Put new plugs in today and still no go.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
