Hi!
I'm new to this forum.
Today as I was in the process of winterising my mercruiser 3.0 (I have a Draco 2000dc).
I bought this boat in April so there's a lot to figure out as I'm quite new to inboards.

As I cleaned the engine I came across these two cables slumped and unattached(at my end) behind motor going through the transom to the drive (I believe).
Anyone got an idea what these cables can be? I have most "basic" controls on my boat so I just don't know what it might be/or have been for.
I guess I can follow the cables all the way if I unmount the drive later on.

Thanks!

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... Those are the trim limit switch, 'n trim position sender wires,....

They corrode off at the drive quite often,....

Mine were cut off, 'n tossed years ago,....
