odd spark problems 25hp merc

81 25 hp 2 stroke at low rpms have some spark, but when you rev it up spark to top cylinder dissapears, new trigger, new switch, everything checks out okay. could it be a.timing, b.weak magnet on flywheel, c. no idea. also it cuts out pretty bad the higher the rpm the worse it cuts out. any ideas. thanks for any help

The bias between the high and low speed windings in the stator is bad, you need to replace the stator

thanks i'll try that is there any way to test that problem the stator tested good. any help would be great. thanks
