Well.... Fall has just started and Spring can't get here fast enough. I have 7 long months ahead of me :facepalm:

So I wrote this;

At the beginning of fall,
for the most Northern of all,
It's time to put asleep a dear friend.

Winterizing is the time,
to look at your water ride,
and lament when you'll see her again.

So thank goodness for iBoats
To keep all us cold folks
And enthusiasts who love our water things;

Entertained and informed,
while the South has it's warmth,
as we anxiously wait for the Spring.

How about:

Now the first of December was covered with snow
and so was the turnpike from Stockbridge to Boston.
Though the Berkshires seemed dreamlike on account of that frosting,
with ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go.

(Thank you James taylor)

Time to buy that new snow shovel that does twice the work in half the time!

Tune-up the snow blower and snowmobile.

Sharpen the ice auger blades and make sure all ice fishing tackle is in order.

Buy that season pass at the tanning salon...

I enjoy ice fishing and the "bottle bass" that comes along with it.....but I'd rather be sitting on the boat. It's going to be a long winter me thinks.

A few months ago, it was predicted the East coast of the US would get a long, harsh winter, completely unlike last year. Today I see an article saying mild winter.....Anybody got a Farmer's Almanac? That will likely be more accurate.....

Probably a pigs spleen or an onion peeled on new years eve.

Buy a Polaris Switchback and ride the snowmobile trails and ditches. It helps pass the time until spring.
