On a typical 1990 OMC 85 to 115 hp outboard setup, are the OEM fuel lines in the parts diagram inside the motor housing that can be ordered better quality and easier to work with than bulk USCG type A1/A15 fuel hose?

Just trying to decide if it's worth buying them or just add the amount to the bulk 5/16 and 5/32 USCG type A1/A15 hose I'll have to get to change out the rest of the fuel hoses.

Got the OEM service manual and fuel pump to eliminate VRO is already shipping, just fuel hose and large parts order is all that's left.

They do not use type A1 hose on the motor. The bend radius and OD are too large for close quarters routing.

The smallest type A1 hose Trident lists in their catalog is 1/4" with a min. bend radius of 1.5"

Any fuel line that's pre-formed to a tight radius would be best if replaced with OE parts. I did one "L" shaped line on mine and the new part was high-grade and had liner to work with ethanol. Other lines that don't need tight bends just got SAE J30R9 line from an auto parts store.

Thanks for info, got OEM parts specified for the areas that need preformed lines, including the bulk OEM engine fuel line connections.

Just something I don't deal with often, so experienced visibility on the issue is greatly appreciated.

Now I just got to do a last chance order review and hit that big expensive order button.

Since some formed lines are no longer available so I will use plastic ts and elbows to make lines.
