Picked-up new Mercruiser Block-Off gaskets last night.
Was talking to the dealer about my riser/manifold problem.
I told him this was my 4th season on the current set up.
He told me Mercruiser recommends replacing these gaskets every 2 years!
I asked if he had the old-school SS plate and gaskets and he told me the plates weren't available anymore so I bought the new ones.

Anyone hear anything similar?
He also mentioned these gaskets need to be re-torqued.

I guess I should check my riser torque.

My block off gaskets have been on there for about 10 years!

They're the ones that came with my San Juan Engr FWC FULL kit and have been on there since I installed it.
