Oem raw water pumps

Anyone have opinion on not using OEM Merc pump in alpha1 gen 2. A mech. told me he had bad experience with sierra due to the way the housing is made. I cannot even find the merc pumps on the net. What do you think?

I would not hesitate to use an after-market kit in my Bravo (in fact I did)

If it were me I would just get it directly from my local NAPA dealer (Sierra)...... They'll probably have it tomorrow unless you order it in the early morning!
