1st off season mod for my zodiac zoom 350 is to paint the rod holders so they look authentic. 2nd major mod is to build a transom attachment to raise outboard by 3-4 inches. Once these two mods are complete I will post before and after pics. Please everyone keep this thread going throughout the end of fall and winter.

So, I'm on the fence about upgrading to a Saturn or continuing to mod by mariner 4. I'm thinking about a complete overhaul on my storage mod. A buddy on here, Heath has made a standing deck in the center of his boat, with all storage underneath. I'm going to be asking around about doing a similar mod to my m4 but the standing deck being a part and extending up to the bow of the boat. I'm thinking the entire mod will take up about the front 1/3 of the boat....elevating it up to level with the top of the boat. The deck will open up for all storage including tackle and battery. Maybe a couple trolling rod holders coming off the sides. Hopefully this should leave room for my swivel chair and a small area to stand on the back half. I'll be laying some boards on the boat to start getting rough ideas on spacing things out....it'll be a long winter here in the mountains so who knows what the hell I'll come up with!

IF....I decide to upgrade to a Saturn, I would def plan on doing similar mods, depending on what size boat I get.

I couldn't help to get out to the garage and get some idea on sizing....here are the pics.....keep in mind, this is only sizing, the finial product would be much more polished and fitted!IMG_20130921_224445_329.jpgIMG_20130921_224455_935.jpg

that's going to look awesome when your done. i would love to see a middle console with a cushion seat incase you don't want to swivel left side a little left open wood as a cutting board that can fully open up so u can store your battery inside. might want to run some wire underneath your carpeted floor to hard battery wire connection to trolling motor. you can get clips similar to the clips used in a power supply of a desktop computer. trolling will have female clip and your battery male clip. clip in then your good to go especially you will use a trailer

Thanx ... it is a 8,5 foot full inflatable though, I added some high jackers at the bottom though and put in a stronger transom with stronger floorboards ... running a 30 suzuki mod that only runs on AVGas getting 47 mph top speed ... very unstable but alot of fun haha
