Off to the Dominican.

Well Mrs Ken and I are off to the Dominican republic for 10 days on Thursday. Going to be celebrating her birthday while we are away. Taking a laptop with us but don't expect to be out here much during the vacation.

We are flying out of Canada (Toronto) so don't think we have that here ...yet !!

Bob will have to watch the house for you this time ... too close to the last vacation, just too busy (and deer season starts next week). Sorry. I did find the emergency credit card ... somehow it got in my duffle. I will use it Friday, then ship it back up to Canada for the guys to finish out the stay ...

Spent 6 winters there at Casa de Campo Resort Marina, DR. I was single then, think that's all that needs to be said.

Enjoy the time off Ken. I spent a week there at La Ramana in the spring. Loved it. Thinking of putting a swim up bar in the back yard pool.

Quick update from the Dominican.
Weather is great, the villa is amazing, maid comes and makes breakfast each morning, our own private pool at the villa, the drinks are all top shelf and the food is phenomenol !!! We have the VIP status here and have all the perks.
Going to be quite a come down when we get home !!!!

Well, This is the way to spend the first day of December !!!! The maid made us breakfast that we ate outside the villa by the pool and it is already 85 degrees. Went on a boating trip yesterday and have lots of photos to post when I get back.
Well off to the beach now so talk soon.

GF and I spent a week there in June..upper 80's low 90's everyday and beautiful.. We also stayed in LaRomana at the Dreams resort. Top notch place with awesome waters to be in... My only complaint is the driving down there, they are crazy. We plan to go again, but next time Im pushing for 2 weeks...

Yup, you've been there!....Bayahibe....Barco Bar?...My favorite little fishing town in the DR.

Driving isn't crazy at all....just $%$^#'n crazy. I drove a moto like most of the locals.

UHHH, the mamajuana, we have a couple bottles of that stuff. Has alot of wood in it (and Brugal Rum, the best) and has been known to make a wooden hull stiffer.

Yes Bayahibe was awesome, the nicest people I have met,talk about hospitality...And the bluest water my eyes have ever seen.. Dive captain said its no problem to see wrecks on the bottom in 100' of water. I would love to live down there.

The mamajuana is sitting in my fridge as I type, I dont have any brugal left so I just pour whatever rum I have around, this batch has the good Ol Captain in it.

Fly to Toronto at 5 p.m. and hopefully home for midnight. Back to reality Monday morning
