The Calipornina House of Leaches (representatives)will meet in January and try to pass and impose a new tax. They want to charge consumers two cents per....on plastic market bags and on any other sale that uses plastic bags.

Another reason to leave the "People's Republic of the Left Coast."

 ...Bob in Calitaxya'...

Hey Bob! All I can say is that someone votes for these Bozos. They don't just materialize out of thin air. You can be sure, when you walk down your street, that at least one half + one of your smiling neighbors voted for them. These people are desperate to control us! That is the only possible motive for these policticians to keep comming up with more and more unrealistic ploys to get your money.

It's not for KINDNESS, CARING, FAIRNESS or even DIVERSITY. It's the POWER, Stupid.

When will all the People learn!

Boomyal Formerly from Calif.

Boomyal.........

I live is a secton of town that has less than 100 homes in the area and more than 80% percent of us are conservative. My town has aproximately 5,350 people, who's voter registration shows a 3 to 2 conservative over the leftist's.

When I bought this property, a little over 25 years ago, the whole town was apx. 90% "C" people. Times have changed, for the worse. :(

...Bob in Calif...

Most of the "C" s came to Arizona. However, the lefties figured it out and now they're coming over too.

Sounds to me more like they are trying to encourage recycling and reduce pollution and waste than collect a tax...A bit of a hassle, but its better than looking at trees with plastic bags tangled in their branches after a windstorm. Not to mention all the bags that end up in the waterways we enjoy. (And can plug up water pick-ups and overheat marine engines)

I don't think the 2 cents per bag will encourage recycling, as there will no rebate as an incentive. In some circles, it might cause disention and actually increase littering with these bags.

California has a "deposit" on plastic soda and water bottles, as well as some other plastic items. Buttttt.......there is no provision to pay a rebate on anything other than water and soda bottles. The other plastic products are usually recycled on a voluntary basis, but the deposit is just more gravy for the lefties to give away thru their socialist programs.

If the leaches can think of anything they might be able to tax, they will find a way to do it. They are experts at that.

Other than the way the government is being run, this is a really swell state. ...NOT...

That is why Calipornia is called the "left Coast."

...Bob in Pinkofornia...
