Did Green Bay and the Steelers send home type weather to big D? I heard on our local station that some ice slid off the roof and critically injured someone and wounded 4 more. Not good for super bowl weekend. Also 6 inches of snow? I pity the people who paid $200.00 each to sit outside and watch the game on screen! But, Our guys are used to it. Even though the roof will be closed and it is played on carpet. The Pack will Win. Oh and by the way GO PACK GO

Lots of events and parties that had high dollar tickets to get into, have dropped to almost nothing due to people refusing to pay 500.00 to go to a party in that mess...
I think SB should be a permanent stadium, oh say somewhere in Miami, at least then some of the Dolphins could go! lol

That's funny!
Three hours south of Dallas, we've been in the teens and twenties most of the week.
I suspect repower threads will be common in the Spring.

On the ice...I remember seeing a car flattened when I was in Fairbanks during "Breakup" one Spring.
We had a contractor killed when a giant icicle fell off the hanger and hit him on the head.

A pretty unusual stretch of cold, bad weather. Ice storm on Tues, and the inch of ice on the roads has not got close to thawing out yet. Add 6-7 inches of snow on top of that last night, and it's a mess. Usually we get snow or ice one or two days a year, and it's gone the next day. There are no plows here, and not enough sand trucks to handle something like this. Not that sand on top of ice really helps much.....If this happens more often, there may have to be more investment in getting some more "northern" equipment for the roads.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought I was going to see comments on the "stripper shortage". Yes friends, the influx of partygoers has created an actual shortage of ....er.... well ...you know...uh, pretty ladies who like spotlights...

When I saw the title of the thread I thought I was going to see comments on the "stripper shortage". Yes friends, the influx of partygoers has created an actual shortage of ....er.... well ...you know...uh, pretty ladies who like spotlights...
