hello everyone, well heres my problem i have a 1979 grady white 212 cheasapeak, that i bought as a basket case, the gentleman i bought it off of said the windshield was broken in a storm but he had one with it the problem is its not close the being the right windshield , now i know i can get one made but i cant put a 1000.00 in a windshield, does anyone know of a salvage yard or anywhere i could get one,this has been my perverbial needle in a hay stack, ive checked with all the salvage yards i can find online with no luck please help, or im going to get really wet this summer, which isnt as bad as all the bugs ill be eating,

That's a cool old boat you got there; seen a few come and go on ebay; which is where you might also find a replacement windshield for her...

OR, if the lower sills are all more or less flat, you could have a new frame made or buy the stock aluminum window channel then cut it up and screw it together yourself. Order yourself some new glass and 'wham-O'...

If you build your own, make sure you use laminated glass. It's really not a big project. Everything you need should be available at your local glass shop. Good luck!

USE PLEXY GLASS AND INSTALL IT sorry caps if its curved you can shape it with a heat gun

i used lexan, cut with fine tooth jib saw blade.
