oil at the prop

I have a little oil driping out 115 hp evinrude. It only left a spot the size of a quarter. It smelt kind of like gas. could the be from mixing my oil to much. I pulled the prop and first set of seals seem ok. I seeking an easy fix first.

most likely it is coming from your exhaust and is nothing to worry about but just to ease your mind check your lower unit oil and make sure it is not milkey looking. As far as mixing your oil with gas goes go by the book not more or less correct oil mixture with gas is the life line of your motor so mix it just like you should
