I lost my oil cap for a 5.7 gsi engine. I ordered a replacement on line but I am out of service for a week. I was told by the marina that I could use a a gm oil cap till it comes in. When I went to the auto parts store I found that there are about 20 different caps! Does anyone know what cap to get? It is a 5.7 GSI PEFS 4012032575

it is an automotive cap. your motor is a GM 350 with a 1/4 turn oil cap. go to a napa and ask the guy. BTW, also ask them for a valve cover gasket for a small block chevy. if he asks you for year, make, and model - walk out and find a different place to buy parts. if he asks you center bolt or perimeter bolt - then he will definitely be able to help you find an oil cap
